CSABA MARKUS ARTIST APPEARANCE – Friday & Saturday, JANUARY 27 & 28

The Park West Fine Art Museum & Gallery will welcome popular contemporary artist Csaba
Markus to Waikiki on Friday, January 27 and Saturday, January 28. Evoking the elegance of Renaissance
art, Csaba Markus masterfully combines Old World ideals with a contemporary flair. Inspired by
Leonardo da Vinci, Markus is best known for his “Modern Mona Lisas,” which combine ancient
techniques with modern methods to create ethereal portraits of confident and mysterious young women.
From 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, January 27, art lovers can meet the artist and view a LIVE painting
demonstration. They also can enjoy a selection of his fanciful, museum-quality artwork. The event
is free and open to the public.

The next day, Saturday, January 28, Park West Hawaii will host a private cocktail party for
Markus starting at 7 p.m. At the Saturday event, the gallery will unveil a special exhibition of
Markus’ original paintings with exclusive pricing for the event. There will be drinks, appetizers,
and prizes available to those who attend.
“Csaba Markus is one of the most energetic and
unique artists we have ever met, and it is an extreme treat to have him visit Park West Hawaii.
Come meet Csaba and we guarantee you’ll become a fan of his singular artwork! His LIVE
painting is not to be missed,” says Park West Hawaii Director Arturo Torrez.
The Saturday night cocktail party with Csaba Markus is available ONLY to those who
RSVP for the event at Waikikibeach@parkwestgallery.com. Space is limited— and is on a
first come, first served basis.

The Park West Fine Art Museum & Gallery, centrally located at Waikiki Beach Walk, 226
Lewers St., is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The gallery also hosts “Champagne Friday”
